About the ELTC
The English Leader's Training Course (ELTC) is a 6-part course designed to get brand-new leaders up to speed with the basics of being a Happy Bee, Brownie or Guide leader. The course is run by Bauhinia's training team, with the support of HKGGA.
After attending a minimum of four unit meetings (we will connect you with a unit, if you don't yet have one), there are four face-to-face ELTC sessions, one online session and the final session is with your unit
There are short online quizzes to complete before some sessions (see below).

Pre-session quizzes and websites
The intention for the pre-session work is to prepare you for the face-to-face sessions, and also to introduce you to online Guiding resources.
Pre-Session 1:

- Quiz 2 Meeting elements (5 minute film + 8 questions)

What do I wear to ELTC sessions?
HKGGA-issued polo shirt (red, green) or dry-fit top (turquoise), available from the HQ shop
dark blue/black trousers or jeans
trainers (not sandals, flip flops, heels, boots etc)

What should I bring?
water bottle & snack
we will provide your workbook and all other equipment / stationary

What if I miss a session?
You will need to make it up. You must have attended all of the first 5 sessions to be able to make your promise in the sixth session with your unit. We will try our hardest to make this happen as soon as possible, but it may be several months.

How much does the ELTC cost?
$200, which is refundable once you have joined a unit and attended 8 meetings
