64th East Kowloon Guides and Brownies packed exactly 400 boxes of food for distribution by Feeding Hong Kong, the food bank based in Yau Tong. Each box contained more than 13 items - so in total the girls and their parent volunteers packed well over 5000 items in just less than three hours. It's rare to find volunteering opportunities for girls as young as Brownies, but Feeding Hong Kong allows volunteers as young as 8 to help pack boxes in their Warehouse sessions run once or twice a month.
