GIC 32nd WK Brownies

Welcome to 32nd West Kowloon Brownies!

Updated: May 26, 2019

Our pack is made up of girls from Australia, Europe and South East Asia. Using the eight point programme, promise and law, we facilitate the girls to support each other, make democratic decisions, learn through experience, take on challenges, listen to others, develop empathy and communicate. Aligning with WAGGS, the girls are at the centre of making decisions about what they would like to do according to their own needs and aspirations throughout their guiding journey.

Some of our happiest memories include:

  • Coastal clean-up at Starfish Bay, Ma On Shan

  • Storytelling in local libraries

  • Upcycling an old t-shirt into a Brownie bag. We used turmeric to dye the fabric

Inviting guest speakers such as:

  • Vex Robotics Instructors

  • Crime Prevention Officer talking about home safety and staying safe in the community

  • Anne (Was a Girl Guide and Brownie in New Zealand) teaching us how to knit

  • Camping at Sandilands
